BJ ENERGY INTL, Dongchi Energy, KeyPower and the Government of Alxa Zuoqi Banner Signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on Source-Grid-Load-Storage Network
On August 19, 2022, Beijing Energy International, Jilin’s Dongchi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Dongchi Energy), Beijing’s KeyPower and the Government of Alxa Zuoqi Banner of Inner Mongolia signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement of the Source-Grid-Load-Storage Network Project. The signing ceremony was presided over by Mo Rigen, deputy secretary and magistrate of Alashan Zuoqi Banner Committee, Jia Geng, vice president of Beijing Energy International, Xie Haiming, chairman of Dongchi Energy, Zhang Guoyin, chairman of KeyPower, Zhao Wei, president of KeyPower and other relevant personnel attended the online signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, based on the spirit of long-term, mutual benefit, win-win cooperation and common development, the four parties will realize the integration of source, grid, load and storage network and build a green zero-carbon park in a progressive manner. The preliminary plan of the project includes 3GW wind power, 1GW photovoltaic and 2GWH energy storage projects, which will provide green power for the park. The first phase includes1.5GW wind power, 0.5GW photovoltaic and 1GWH energy storage projects. The 20GWH solid-state battery production line and related battery material industry will be implemented in two phases. After the project is completed, it will further promote the transformation and upgrading of regional energy structure, and help Inner Mongolia achieve its dual carbon goals at an early date.
