The two sides agreed to take this strategic cooperation as an opportunity to complement each other towards win-win cooperation, jointly creating a vision of mutual development, in an effort to make new contributions to the implementation of the goal of “Emission peak and carbon neutrality”. The meeting was attended by the company’s Vice President Jia Geng, Investment Director Zhao Li, South China Regional Company General Manager Hou Zhiguo, and CMEC’s Ding Dongxing, Deputy General Manager of Strategic Development and Coordinated Management Department, Cao Qing, Deputy General Manager of Operation and Management Department, Wang Pu, Deputy General Manager of Investment and Asset Operation Department, and Lu Jin, CMEC Hong Kong General Manager.

At the meeting before the signing, Fang Yanshui extended a warm welcome to Zhu Jun and his colleagues. He said that as CMEC has rich business forms in the new energy sector and a wide market coverage, it is willing to cooperate with Beijing Energy International as a strategic partner, speeding up the implementation of domestic and foreign clean energy projects through the model of equity participation and joint construction so as to achieve resource sharing and mutual benefit.

Zhu Jun introduced the business development of Beijing Energy International and said that CMEC enjoys rich experience in general project contracting and overseas business development, which is highly complementary with his company. He said that Beijing Energy International is a pilot enterprise for the reform of mixed ownership of SOEs in Beijing. It is hoped that after establishing a strategic cooperative relationship with CMEC, the two companies will jointly expand the new energy market at home and abroad during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, leveraging a flexible market-oriented operation system and mechanism and prudent risk control measures towards a win-win situation between the two companies.
