On March 8, Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, and Liu Zengqiang, chairman of Northeast Electric Power Design Institute (NEPDI), China Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd., met with Cai Hongwei, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Jilin Energy Investment Group in Changchun, Jilin Province. They held exchanges on advancing new energy projects in Jilin and promoting cross-regional project cooperation. 

During the meeting, the parties introduced their business development and future plans. They recognized that the three companies are outstanding in their respective fields with significant achievements. They also acknowledged that there is vast potential for cooperation in the field of new energy, given the high degree of alignment in development concepts. In the future, they plan to strengthen regular communication mechanisms, fully leverage their respective strengths, explore innovative cooperation models, and broaden the depth and breadth of cooperation. They aim to engage in practical cooperation in fields such as new energy and energy storage, striving for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes. Their efforts will contribute to achieving social and economic benefits, thus empowering the early realization of the national dual carbon goals.

The meeting was attended by Gao Yuping, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of Jilin Energy Investment Group; Jiang Weiming, deputy general manager of NEPDI; Jia Geng and Wu Chaoke, vice presidents of Beijing Energy International; An Xiaoxuan, director of the Company Office; and He Kun, general manager of the Northeast Branch Company, among other relevant personnel.
