On the afternoon of March 18, Chairman of the Board of Directors Zhang Ping and Vice President Jia Geng of Beijing Energy International Holdings Co., Ltd. went to the Northwest Regional Company for a field visit and provided work guidance, and organized a meeting. The meeting was attended by General Manager Hu Yong, Executive Deputy General Manager Zhang Jinian, Deputy General Manager Zhang Guangkui, and heads of various departments of the Northwest Regional Company.
At the meeting, Zhang Ping and his colleagues listened to the briefing on the operation and management of the Northwest Regional Company. Participants conducted in-depth discussions on the team building, safety management, market-oriented transactions, energy storage projects, and the next stage of development of the Northwest Regional Company based on their respective fields.
Zhang Ping spoke positively of the achievements and the morale of the Northwest Regional Company at the beginning of the year, and put forward requirements for the work in the next stage: firstly, efforts should be made to ensure safety, take multiple measures to improve management, always put safety work first, make up for the shortcomings in safety management, and earnestly put in place the safety management control system; secondly, efforts should be made to improve project management, strive to cultivate benchmarking power stations, give full play to the leading role of advanced models of self-built projects, and vigorously build the “image project” of Beijing Energy International Holdings’ characteristics in independent building; thirdly, efforts should be made to strengthen operation management, cost accounting, improve resource allocation, conduct fine management on cost per kilowatt hour, raise the awareness of operation and management, and ensure the increase of profit indicators; fourthly, efforts should be made to correctly draw up the regional development plan, give equal focus on cautious demonstration and extended thinking, expand the market according to local conditions, come up with planning, compare resource advantages, identify the development trend of electric power, and make the plan and pursue development in a targeted manner; fifthly, efforts should be made to strengthen team building, adhere to the principles of fairness, justice, and openness in selecting more and better talents to join the team, maintain positive atmosphere conducive to hard work featuring the unity of the leadership team, and improve team cohesion and competitiveness in an all-round manner; sixthly, efforts should be made to adhere to the problem-oriented approach, give equal focus on improving the rules and regulations and improving the management process system, identify the shortcomings early on and solve the problems in time, so as to keep adapting to the changing situation and promote new development; seventhly, sustained efforts should be made scientifically improve the compensation management system, innovate management systems and mechanisms, and adopt diversified incentives to motivate employees, help them build more trust and sense of belonging to the company, and realize a win-win situation between the company and employees; eighthly, efforts should be made to improve the basic management, put in place a complete and standardized management system based on the actual production conditions, pay attention to detail management, adhere to high standards and strict demands, and create a clean and comfortable production and living environment; Ninthly, efforts should be made to build a learning-oriented and innovative team, focus on the cultivation of cutting-edge technologies such as power marketing, energy storage development, and complementation of hydropower and solar power, and enhance the diversified training and learning of employees; tenthly, efforts should be made to adhere to integrity and self-discipline, keep the faith, view power, status, and interests in a correct way, conduct “self-respect, self-reflection, self-warning, and self-motivation”, and exercise self-control, bearing in mind “Don’t cease to do good things no matter how seemingly insignificant they are, and don’t do evil things no matter how seemingly insignificant they are”; eleventhly, efforts should be made to enhance Party building in the company, promote the deep integration of Party building work and the company’s production and operation, enhance corporate cultural progress, and forge a unique Party building brand in the region.
