On January 9, 2023, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International visited Tian Pengfei, secretary of Anda Municipal Party Committee in Anda City, Suihua, Heilongjiang Province. The two sides discussed on in-depth cooperation in new energy.

During the meeting, Tian Pengfei welcomed the visit of Zhang Ping and introduced the new energy resources and local development planning of Anda City. He said that the city is rich in wind and solar resources and is striving to build three million-kilowatt new energy bases. He pointed out that as a pioneer SOE of mixed ownership reform, Beijing Energy International is well known for its rapid development and good reputation with flexible mechanism and has made remarkable achievements in the field of new energy. The company is welcomed to invest in and build projects in the city. It is hoped that both sides will continue to deepen cooperation in new energy project development and other fields and accelerate the implementation of cooperation results. The city will provide all-round policy support and service guarantee, complement each other’s advantages in seeking common development, so as to attain green and low-carbon development in energy sector.

Zhang Ping thanked Anda Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for their strong support to and full trust in the company and introduced its business development and future planning. He said that the company has actively responded to the national low-carbon clean energy development strategy in recent years and is embracing a high-quality and rapid development period. Going forward, it will give full play to its own advantages, actively explore cooperation concepts, accelerate the investment and construction of cooperative projects, further help upgrade the regional new energy industry to deliver a bumper harvest of regional social and economic benefits, contributing to the early realization of the dual carbon goal of the city.
