On February 15, 2023, Liu Dongsheng, vice president of Beijing Energy International visited Li Xiang, party secretary and chairman of YEIG Capital Investment Co., Ltd. of Yunnan Provincial Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd.(YEIG) in Kunming, and the two sides exchanged on the in-depth cooperation in new energy in Yunnan Province. Cao Yijia, general manager of Securities Investment Research Department of YEIG Capital Investment Co., Ltd., Kong Zhiqing, business director; Zhao Li, investment director of Beijing Energy International, Lu Zinan, deputy general manager of Legal Compliance Department, Tian Yongsheng, deputy general manager of Southwest Branch Company and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Li Xiang welcomed Liu Dongsheng and his delegation, and introduced the operation and development goals of YEIG and YEIG Capital Investment Co., Ltd. She said that, as a provincial energy enterprise in Yunnan, YEIG enjoys unique advantages in location and resources. She pointed out that as an international pioneer in reform, Beijing Energy International has professional capacity, flexible mechanism and strong momentum in developing new energy projects. The two sides are highly complementary in development and have great potential for cooperation in energy projects. It is hoped that the two sides will establish long-term cooperative relations, jointly expand Yunnan’s energy market and contribute to the early realization of the dual carbon goal in the province.
Liu Dongsheng said that Beijing Energy International has defined the development route of “integrating reserve bases, synergized development and international expansion” to foster the “One Center, Two Loop lines and One Focus”. As a key part of its “South Loop Line”, he hoped that the two sides would innovate cooperation modes on the basis of existing cooperation and continue to carry out more comprehensive and in-depth business cooperation in energy, promote the implementation of major projects for common development, boost the upgrading of Yunnan’s energy industry and regional economic development, and deliver both social and economic benefits.
