On March 9, 2023, Beijing Energy International held a kick-off meeting to promote “Five Fine Management” and build a team of “Three Basics and Nine Strengths” (i.e. the promotion & building work) for the overall improvement of management capacity. The meeting was presided over by Zhu Jun, president of the company. The company’s management team, directors, heads of various departments, deputy general managers or heads of branch companies and subsidiaries attended the meeting.
During the meeting, vice president Wang Liuhu, introduced the Implementation Plan for Promoting “Five Fine Management” and Building a Team of “Three Basics and Nine Strengths” for the Overall Improvement of Management Capacity, and conveyed the messages regarding the objectives and principles, organizational structure and responsibilities, specific work, work requirements, deadline, work procedures and safeguard measures.
Zhang Ping, party secretary and chairman of the Board of Directors, delivered an important speech. He pointed out that 2023 is a year of breakthrough, and it is timely to make breakthroughs in investment and development, project construction and basic management, and to promote “Five Fine Management” and build a team of “Three Basics and Nine Strengths” for the overall improvement of management capacity. The promotion and building work has a beginning but no ending. We should deeply understand its significance, accurately focus on the main tasks, apply the requirements of the promotion and building work to the whole process of business management, including basic management, project expansion, safety production, engineering construction, information management, team building and file management, so as to achieve cost-effectiveness with improved management and strive to build the company into a first-class international clean energy provider, green investor and operator.
In order to carry out the promotion and building work with high quality and lay a good groundwork for the future, several reference books were circulated to the participants prior to the meeting, such as the “The Knowledge Guide for Five Fine Management”, “West Point’s Catch-22” and “Cutting Costs – Entrepreneurs’ 12 Financial Machetes”.
