On April 18, 2023, Beijing Energy International won the bid for the 4.5MW distributed photovoltaic project of BBMG Mortar in Pinggu District, Beijing. This is yet another critical achievement of the company in promoting the green and low-carbon transformation and development of energy in the capital city.
The project is located in Mafang Town, Pinggu District, Beijing, with a total installed capacity of 4.5MW. It plans to adopt the latest N-type module, which has the advantages of high power generation efficiency, low attenuation and long service life and can effectively improve the cost-effectiveness. It is expected to start in July 2023 and connect to the power grid at the end of October. After completion, it will produce about 4.21 million kWh of green electricity every year, saving about 1,348 tons of standard coal and reducing about 3,531 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, delivering good economic, social and environmental benefits, and helping the capital city achieve the dual carbon goal at an early date.
