On April 23, 2023, Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International met with Huang Haitao, deputy party secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of PowerChina Kunming Engineering Corporation Ltd., in Kunming, Yunnan Province, and the two sides exchanged on in-depth cooperation in new energy.

During the meeting, the two sides introduced their respective business fields and industrial layout and agreed that they are highly aligned on development concepts, enjoy strong business complementarities, sound cooperation foundation and broad cooperation space. Moving forward, they will strengthen communication, focus on the investment and construction of new energy projects such as photovoltaic, wind power and hydropower in Yunnan, Myanmar and other domestic and foreign regions, deepen cooperation for common development and step up resource and information sharing, so as to contribute to the green and low-carbon transformation of the energy sector.
