On May 16, 2023, Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International, met with Wang Yanbo, party secretary of Zhaoyuan Municipal Committee of Shandong Province in Beijing. The two sides discussed about on in-depth cooperation in new energy.

During the meeting, Zhang Ping welcomed Wang Yanbo and his delegation and introduced the business development and future planning of Beijing Energy International. He said that the company, as a pilot SOE for mixed-ownership reform, enjoys a flexible and efficient mechanism and a strong development momentum. At present, it has formed a development pattern of “dual-circle, one-center and one-focus”. The company attaches great importance to new energy market in Shandong and will capitalize on its specialized advantages, take local development needs and energy structure characteristics into account, and increase the investment in new energy in Zhaoyuan City, so as to upgrade new energy industrial structure and deliver socioeconomic benefits in the region.

Wang Yanbo introduced the basic situation of Zhaoyuan City and the industrial orientation of “the Capital of Gold with Strong New Energy Industry and Health Industry” in detail. He said that Zhaoyuan actively promotes the development of new energy industry which enjoys a huge space. Beijing Energy International is a specialized leader in new energy and has made remarkable achievements. He welcomed the company to participate in the economic and social construction of Zhaoyuan City and hoped that the two sides will cooperate in new energy fields such as offshore photovoltaics and offshore wind power. The city will provide all-round policy support and service guarantee for shared development, and jointly explore the sustainable development path of energy industry in the region.
