On July 6, 2023, Zhu Jun, president of Beijing Energy International visited Huang Haitao, deputy party secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of PowerChina Kunming Engineering Corporation in Kunming, Yunnan Province, and the two sides exchanged on in-depth cooperation in clean energy.

During the meeting, the two sides introduced their respective business development and key projects and agreed that the development concepts of the two sides are highly compatible, and the cooperation space is very broad. Going forward, they will take this meeting as an opportunity to strengthen communication, effectively implement the existing projects, deepen cooperation on the development and construction of new energy and hydropower projects in Yunnan and Xizang, fully capitalize on their advantages in resources, professional expertise and technology, and promote the implementation of follow-up projects for common development.
