On March 19, a delegation led by Kan Xing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of Beijing Energy Holding, met with Liu Hongjian, member of the Standing Committee of Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and secretary of the Kunming Municipal Party Committee in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The discussions focused on deepening cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, energy storage, computing power, and health tourism.

Liu Hongjian warmly welcomed the delegation and stated that Kunming is currently vigorously implementing the Provincial Party Committee and Government’s deployment requirements to accelerate the transformation of green resource advantages into industrial advantages. He hoped that both sides would strengthen communication and coordination, accelerate project construction progress in Kunming, deepen practical cooperation in more fields, and strive to achieve mutual benefit and common development.

Kan Xing expressed gratitude for the strong support provided by the Kunming Municipal Party Committee and Government to Beijing Energy Holding. He emphasized Kunming’s significant advantages in location, openness, and ecology, which are increasingly prominent in the national development strategy. The company will actively integrate into local development, fully leverage its advantages as a SOE of Beijing, deeply participate in the development of Kunming’s green energy industry, increase investment in areas such as computing power and energy storage, and jointly write a new chapter for the beautiful Spring City of Kunming.
