On March 21, Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International, met with Yang Wenhui, member of the Standing Committee of the Songyuan Municipal Party Committee, secretary of the Qianguo County Party Committee, and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Chagan Lake Tourism Economic Development Zone, along with their delegation in Beijing. Both parties engaged in discussions regarding deepening cooperation in the field of new energy.

During the meeting, both sides reached a consensus on advancing new energy projects and exchanged ideas on industrial layout and future planning. It is agreed that they have maintained close communication in the early stages, with highly aligned development concepts and broad cooperation prospects. Going forward, both parties will deepen communication mechanisms, strengthen pragmatic and in-depth cooperation in fields such as new energy development and construction, and complement each other’s advantages for mutual benefit. They will properly advance the implementation of cooperative projects, facilitate the materialization of industrial projects, jointly promote the upgrade of local new energy industry for social and economic benefits, so as to contribute to the early realization of dual carbon goals in the province.

Cao Wei, member of the Standing Committee of the Qianguo County Party Committee and deputy county chief, Hou Xuesong, director of the County Industry and Information Bureau and director of the Project Special Taskforce, and Hao Chunguang, director of the County Commerce Bureau, along with relevant personnel from Beijing Energy International, including Jia Geng, vice president, and Li Jian, general manager of Beijing Energy Sembcorp attended the meeting.
