On April 24, Wu Chaoke, vice president of Beijing Energy International, met with Gao Sen, secretary of the Chayouzhong Banner Committee of Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia, in Beijing, to exchange ideas on deepening cooperation in the field of green hydrogen production.
During the meeting, both parties agreed that Chayouzhong Banner is well-endowed with abundant wind and solar resources, enjoys significant geographical advantages, efficient transportation and logistics, and ample water resources. Its industrial park’s robust infrastructure further enhances its potential for green hydrogen production. Looking ahead, both parties expressed their commitment to harnessing the benefits of the Beijing-Inner Mongolia pairing cooperation program, tapping into Inner Mongolia’s abundant renewable energy sources, and fostering extensive collaboration in green hydrogen production, thereby promoting sustainable and high-quality economic development in the region.
Attendees at the meeting included Hu Bin, director of the Development and Reform Commission of Chayouzhong Banner; Yan Pengyu, director of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau of the Banner; Chai Haiping, director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Banner; Zhang Lifeng, president of the Investment Promotion Association of Ulanqab City; Li Gang, engineering director and leader of the Hydrogen Working Group of China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC); Zhang Junfeng, deputy manager of the Second Department of Regional Business of CMEC; and Li Jian, investment director and general manager of the Strategic Investment Department of Beijing Energy International, among others.
