On August 27, the China Energy Conservation Association (CECA) announced the official release and implementation of the group standard T/CECA-G 0310-2024, “Technical Development Specifications for Flexible Consumption and Flexible Chemical Systems of Off-Grid Hydrogen Production,” co-developed by Beijing Energy International. The release of this standard will provide technical guidance and reference for the company’s integrated off-grid wind and solar power hydrogen production projects, promote the construction of a green “electricity-hydrogen” industry system, accelerate the implementation of the green hydrogen strategy, and shape a significant growth pillar for sustainable development.

Using renewable energy, such as wind and solar power, to electrolyze water for the production of “green hydrogen”—which can then be further synthesized into energy-carrying chemicals like ammonia and alcohol or used directly—will benefit the power sector by providing diversified energy products and enriching the channels and methods for new energy consumption. The formulation and implementation of this standard will further promote the large-scale and commercial application of off-grid hydrogen production technology, ensuring its feasibility and safety in practical operations. This contributes to the high-quality development of the green hydrogen industry and the construction of a green and harmonious society, underscoring the company’s role in this sector.
