On September 11, Hu Yuting, Deputy Secretary of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Jilin Province, accompanied by Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, conducted an on-site inspection of the large-scale energy storage R&D and manufacturing project at Beijing Energy International’s Qianguo Zero-Carbon Industrial Park in Songyuan City. Present at the event were Li Xiaojie, Secretary of the Songyuan Municipal Party Committee; Zhao Yanfeng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director General of the Jilin Provincial Energy Bureau; and Mandula, Deputy Secretary of the Qianguo County Party Committee, County Magistrate, and Director of the Chagan Lake Tourism Economic Development Zone Management Committee, along with other relevant leaders.

The large-scale energy storage R&D and manufacturing project at the park covers an area of 83,000 square meters, with a building area of 137,600 square meters. The project, leveraging the core technology of lithium iron phosphate energy storage batteries, develops and manufactures a full range of energy storage products with high energy density, long life, high safety, high stability, and high cost-effectiveness. These include battery cells, PACK (energy storage battery assembly), CCS (battery busbar integration), liquid-cooled battery cabins, new heat pumps, and energy storage system integration. Once operational, the project will empower Qianguo County in establishing a comprehensive demonstration base for new energy applications and promote the high-quality economic development of the city.

Governor Hu Yuting urged relevant parties to strengthen service and support, creating favorable conditions for accelerating project construction, striving for more substantial progress, and better serving local economic and social development.

Beijing Energy International will continue to leverage its advantages, deepen exchanges and cooperation, and create a benchmark demonstration project. It aims to advance the depth and effectiveness of government-enterprise collaboration, contribute to the establishment of a green and low-carbon development mechanism, and promote the high-quality development of the regional new energy industry.
