On September 30, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, and Zhu Jun, the company’s President, met with Hidetake Takahashi, Director and Executive Vice President of Japan’s ORIX Group, in Beijing. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on collaboration across various sectors, including new energy, energy storage, and green hydrogen.
During the meeting, both parties introduced their respective business domains and industry layouts, agreeing that the two companies complement each other well, offering strong potential for cooperation. Building on their existing partnership at the equity level of listed companies, they expressed a shared desire to use this meeting as an opportunity to further strengthen collaboration, deepen mutual trust, and explore new opportunities in overseas new energy project development, energy storage, and green electricity-based hydrogen production. Both sides aim to innovate cooperation models, expand the scope of collaboration, and combine their strengths to drive forward global energy’s transition toward green and low-carbon development.
The meeting was attended by Li Hao, Executive Director and Head of ORIX Greater China; Xu Yan, Co-President of OCIH; Zhang Yingnan, President of ORIX Asia Asset Management (QAAM); along with Vice President Liu Dongsheng, Vice President Huang Hui, and Vice President Jia Geng of Beijing Energy International, and other relevant personnel.
