On November 11, Wu Chaoke, Vice President of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to Tokyo, Japan, to visit Shigeo NARUSE, Senior Managing Director of Japan Electric Power Information Center (JEPIC). The two sides held discussions on deepening cooperation in the green energy sector.
During the meeting, both parties introduced their respective business developments and future industry plans. They engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as the wind and solar resources in Inner Mongolia and Northeast China, the production costs of green hydrogen in China, and hydrogen energy safety management. Both sides agreed that green fuels (hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol) are playing an increasingly important role in Japan’s energy market. They expressed hopes to use this exchange as an opportunity to establish a long-term communication mechanism and jointly promote the development of green fuels in Japan’s energy market.
JEPIC is an organization jointly established by Japanese electric power companies. Founded in 1958, it currently has 12 member companies. JEPIC focuses on researching and analyzing international power industries, fostering exchanges and cooperation with overseas organizations, and supporting the development of Japan’s electric power sector and international collaboration efforts.
