On December 24, Beijing Energy International’s 50MW photovoltaic industry integration project in Weijing Village, Yizheng, Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, successfully passed the review of the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission, completing its registration process. This marks another significant achievement for Beijing Energy International in advancing green energy development in Jiangsu.

The project makes full use of the area’s abundant land resources, covering a planned area of around 169.64 acres. It is a comprehensive industrial integration project that combines photovoltaic power generation, facility-based agriculture, and agritourism. With a total installed photovoltaic capacity of 50MW, the project integrates solar energy with surrounding natural landscapes and agricultural resources to achieve diversified land use and maximize industrial value.

Upon commissioning, the project is expected to generate an average annual electricity output of approximately 61 million kWh, equivalent to saving 19,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 50,000 tons. This will further optimize the local energy structure and contribute to the region’s early realization of its dual carbon goals.
