On December 31, 2024, Beijing Energy International successfully connected the 6.19MW Dongshan, 5.57MW Longmengang, and 5.77MW Ningjin fishery complementary photovoltaics (FPV) in Rongcheng, Weihai, to the grid. These projects mark another new energy investment by the company in Weihai, following the 200MW/400MWh shared energy storage project in Rongcheng, Weihai.

The projects are located in Dongshan Street and Ningjin Street in Rongcheng City, Shandong, with a total installed capacity of 17.52MW. they operate under a full-grid connection mode. Once operational, they are expected to produce approximately 23.4657 million kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 7,200 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 22,500 tons. The projects offer significant environmental and social benefits, further optimizing the local energy structure and contributing to the clean and low-carbon transformation of Weihai’s energy sector.
