BJ ENERGY INTL Holds Talks with CITIC Securities

On January 16, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, met in Beijing with Ren Songtao, Head of the Energy, Chemical, and New Materials Group at CITIC Securities, along with his entourage. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on enhancing cooperation in the domestic and international renewable energy sectors. 




During the meeting, both parties introduced their respective business areas and industrial layouts. They agreed that the two companies are highly complementary, offering significant potential for collaboration. Both sides expressed a desire to take this meeting as a foundation to further strengthen communication, explore cooperation opportunities in areas such as international renewable energy project development, green hydrogen production using renewable power, and capital operations. They aim to innovate cooperation models, deepen collaborative fields, and leverage their strengths to jointly contribute to the global transition towards green and low-carbon energy.

Attendees included James McIntosh, Head of CITIC CLSA Australia; Jeremy D'sylva, Head of Corporate Finance at CITIC CLSA Australia; Li Wanlu, Senior Vice President of the Energy, Chemical, and New Materials Group; and Yang Haoru, Manager of the Energy, Chemical, and New Materials Group (Hong Kong) from CITIC Securities. From Beijing Energy International, attendees included Vice President Huang Hui and Vice President Jia Geng, as well as Yang Dong, General Manager of the Financing Management Center, among others.
