Time:2025-01-18

On January 17, the 190MW photovoltaic project in Yanfang, Zhanyi District, Qujing, Yunnan, developed by Beijing Energy International, successfully connected to the grid at full capacity. This marks another significant achievement for the company in the autonomous development and construction in Yunnan. The grid connection of this project provides strong support for the high-quality development of the new energy industry in the province.

The project has an installed capacity of 190MW, along with the construction of a 110kV booster station and a 33-kilometer 110kV outgoing line. During the construction, the project team overcame various challenges, including complex underground and overhead pipelines, and the need to cross railways and highways. All project participants worked together and successfully achieved the full-capacity grid connection.

Once operational, it is expected to generate approximately 325 million kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 172,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 417,000 tons. The project has significant economic and social benefits and will further contribute to the local green industry’s growth.
