At 16: 53 on December 30, 2022, the 8.92MW rooftop distributed photovoltaic project of Beijing Energy International in Gaobeidian, Baoding City, Hebei Province was connected to the grid for power generation. The project is located on the rooftops of 79 schools and 5 health centers in Gaobeidian, with a total roof area of about 92,600 square meters and a total installed capacity of 8.92MW.

After the project is put into operation, it is estimated that it will produce about 10.1 million kWh of green power on average annually, saving about 3,100 tons of standard coal and cutting about 8,600 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. With the remarkable social, environmental and economic benefits it is delivering, it will further help Hebei realize the dual carbon goal at an early date.
