On December 31, 2022, the energy storage project of Jiangda Zangneng and Yulong 8MW/40MWh of Beijing Energy International was connected to the grid for power generation. This project is Beijing Energy International Zangneng Company’s first energy storage technological transformation project in Tibet Autonomous Region and its first energy storage project with the highest elevation domestically, which marks a breakthrough of the company in developing energy storage project in Tibet.

As the key power supply project of Tibet in 2022, the construction of the project kicked off on October 10, 2022. After 80 days of hard work, it was successfully completed for power generation. When it is put into operation, the annual power generation utilization hours can climb to about 1,500, which will not only boost the power stations’ revenue, but also alleviate the imbalance of electricity supply and demand in Changdu and contribute to regional energy transformation and development.
