On January 10, 2024, Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International, met with Ma Zixing, secretary of Tengchong Municipal Party Committee in Tengchong, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province. The two sides exchanged on continuously deepening strategic cooperation and achieving win-win development and signed the Framework Cooperation Agreement on Investment and Construction of Tengchong Photovoltaic Power Generation Project. Yang Yanlong, deputy party secretary of Tengchong Municipal Committee and mayor of Tengchong, presided over the meeting.

Ma Zixing welcomed Zhang Ping and his entourage. He expressed the hope that the company could take this meeting as an opportunity to deepen industrial cooperation and promote the new energy industry to become bigger, better and stronger. Tengchong Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government will, as always, adhere to the “pro-business” concept, and strive to build an ideal environment for investing and starting business in Tengchong, create more convenience for innovation and entrepreneurship as well as more comfort for living and working in Tengchong, and bring more new and old friends to jointly develop Tengchong, integrate into the city and share its development prosperity.

Zhang Ping affirmed Tengchong’s resource endowment. He said that the company would continue to strengthen investment and construction in its new energy field, carry out comprehensive and deepening cooperation with local government, actively explore cooperation ideas in the context of local development needs and industrial structure characteristics, and facilitate tea tourism, health care and other industries to deliver on social and economic benefits. And he believed that the cooperation between the two sides would embrace a bright future.

Finally, the two sides signed the Framework Cooperation Agreement on Investment and Construction of Tengchong Photovoltaic Power Generation Project. According to the agreement, the two sides will fully capitalize on their respective advantages, carry out all-round, long-term strategic cooperation in the joint development of photovoltaic power generation projects integrating tea growing and PV power, and build a win-win and sustainable strategic partnership.
