On January 9, 2024, Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International, met with Yang Jun, party secretary of Baoshan Municipal Committee in Baoshan, Yunnan. The two sides exchanged on continuously deepening strategic cooperation and achieving win-win development. Chen Rui, deputy party secretary of Baoshan Municipal Committee and mayor, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Yang Jun said that thanks to the cooperation between Beijing Energy International and Baoshan City, the hydropower M&A project was promoted in an orderly manner, and the development of new energy projects was fully rolled out, which achieved gratifying results. It is hoped that both sides will work hard, enhance their sense of ownership, strengthen their sense of responsibility, continue to strengthen cooperation through complementarity of resources and advantages, and promote the deep integration of new energy development and industrial development. And they will pragmatically promote project construction, resource allocation, administrative examination and approval, and various guarantee, etc., and promote the cooperation to deliver fruitful results and win-win development.

Chen Rui hopes that the two sides will strengthen communication and alignment, comprehensively study the distribution of existing resources and the feasibility of project development in counties (cities, districts) of Baoshan with the help of advanced technology and management of Beijing Energy International, develop diversified layout and precise policies, effectively promote industrial introduction and project landing, make Baoshan’s energy industry superior, stronger and bigger, and help local green and low-carbon development.

Zhang Ping introduced the business development and future planning of Beijing Energy International in Baoshan. He said that Baoshan is rich in resources and has broad prospects for cooperation. The company will continue to strengthen investment and construction in the new energy field in Baoshan, carry out comprehensive and deepening cooperation with local government, give full play to its specialized advantages, and fully promote the landing of new energy projects and supporting industries in Baoshan, so as to make greater contributions to local economic development.
