Time:2025-03-17

Recently, Beijing Energy International was awarded the integrated energy project for the dormitory buildings of Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication (BIGC) in Daxing District, Beijing. This marks the company’s first successful contract energy management project for a higher education institution in the capital. It is also another key achievement by Beijing Energy International, a local energy enterprise, in fulfilling Beijing Energy Holding’s mission of “serving the capital” and promoting high-quality development in the new era.

The project adopts a contract energy management (CEM) model, with the company responsible for the investment, construction, and operation of the cooling and heating energy station for the new dormitory buildings. It features a multi-energy coupling system integrating ground-source heat pumps and air-source heat pumps, combined with an intelligent energy management platform. This setup ensures a safe, reliable, green, low-carbon, and efficient energy system. Once operational, the project is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 417.75 tons, nitrogen oxide emissions by 6.29 tons, and sulfur dioxide emissions by 12.57 tons annually, further contributing to energy transition and economic development in Beijing.
