On September 15, 2023, chairman Zhang Ping and president Zhu Jun of Beijing Energy International, met with Zhao Qiming, party secretary, chairman and general manager of SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. in Beijing. The two sides exchanged on in-depth cooperation in new energy.

Zhao Qiming introduced the business development and industry advantages of SEPCOIII in new energy and other fields. He said that in recent years, SEPCOIII has capitalized on its advantages as a state-owned enterprise, actively worked with local governments, managed its general contracting process, meticulously organized the construction and details in tracing back to the source, earnestly planned and fully achieved all process nodes, and fulfilled the commitments to the owners as scheduled. It is hoped that the two sides can fully use their advantages in resources, technology and talented professionals, strengthen cooperation in the development and construction of new energy projects, and deliver mutual benefit and high-quality development.

Zhang Ping welcomed Zhao Qiming and his delegation for their visit. He said that the two companies have established a deep and stable friendship in cooperation and development. He hoped that they would uphold the spirit of contract, maintain good and close communication, increase investment in resources, promote the construction of Tongliao and Datong projects in strict accordance with schedule, standards and quality, to ensure that the projects are connected to power grid as planned, and strive to create high-quality projects and demonstration projects. It is expected that the two sides will further innovate the cooperation mode on the basis of promoting the existing projects, actively explore in-depth cooperation mechanisms in wind power, photovoltaic, hydrogen and ammonia production, unswervingly improve their strength for common development, and contribute to the green and low-carbon transformation of the energy sector.
