BJ ENERGY INTL and Its Partners Jointly Meet with the Management Committee of Dalian Changxing Island Economic and Technological Development Zone in Liaoning

On March 13, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, Zou Shengping, Party Secretary and Chairman of PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., and Yang Yongzhi, Chairman of Haipai Group Co., Ltd., jointly visited the Dalian Changxing Island Economic and Technological Development Zone in Liaoning. They met with Zhao Dong, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the zone. The parties held in-depth discussions on cooperation in wind, solar and new energy as well as hydrogen-based energy in the Changxing Island area.

During the meeting, all parties shared updates on their respective industrial layouts and development plans and engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding cooperation in hydrogen-based energy. It was acknowledged that Changxing Island holds a clear strategic position in the hydrogen energy sector, supported by its significant geographical advantages and abundant resource endowments. Meanwhile, Beijing Energy International has demonstrated robust momentum in high-quality development, having built up technical expertise and launched demonstration projects in green hydrogen production and integrated hydrogen energy utilization. With highly aligned development goals in the hydrogen energy field, the parties recognize vast potential for future collaboration.

Moving forward, the parties will establish a long-term communication mechanism, using specific projects as a foundation to complement each other’s strengths and achieve mutual development. Beijing Energy International, together with Jiangxi Electric Power Construction and Haipai Group, will focus on cultivating new quality productive forces in hydrogen-based energy, actively contributing to the goal of building a “domestically leading and internationally first-class” featured industrial park on Changxing Island, and jointly supporting the national transition toward clean and low-carbon energy and high-quality development.

Wu Junfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the management committee, along with officials from relevant departments, attended the meeting. Other attendees included Xiong Jianming, President Assistant, Director of the Market Management Department, and General Manager of the Market Development Company, Jiangxi Electric Power Construction; Vice President Jia Geng and Vice President Wu Chaoke of Beijing Energy International; Li Jian, Investment Director, and other relevant personnel.
